Boo to You, Alexandra! This frightfully fun parade is one of my favorite parts of
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! The lights, glow in the dark everything and your favorite characters celebrating through the parks is a can’t miss part of the celebration.
During the 2016 Halloween extravaganza, there were two parades. One, at 8pm was accessible easily to families of all ages, and since the holiday parades typically go “in reverse” (beginning in Frontierland and driving towards the front of the park), the best seats are right on Main Street, U.S.A., where all the fun is! There is typically a second parade much later in the evening, around 11pm or so, for the older set to enjoy. It’s much less crowded at this time, if you can stand to stay up nearly as late as Cinderella.
I can tell you that during one parade or another, there are fairly short lines at all the Trick-or-Treat locations as well as the particular rides that are kept open. It’s a great time to ride-hop around the park and plan to see the later parade.
I hope to see a lot of the same arrangements at the 2017 Halloween Party, so be sure to visit me again when your trip nears and the official schedule is published. I’ll be so happy to make recommendations on must-have treats and
top costume tips! Happy Halloween! ~ Lindsey P.
