    We go nearly every year and have always stayed at the Grand Floridian. This year we are staying at the Contemporary because the two bedroom suite looked much better. However, I am worried as we LOVED the GF and I will be disappointed with the Contem?

    I'm so glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question and concern. We love sharing our tips and experience with other guests. I do not think you will be disappointed in Disney's Contemporary Resort. In fact, I stayed there for the first time a little over a year ago. I have stayed in almost every resort on property and wasn't initially excited to stay there myself. However, once I did, it instantly became one of my favorites. 

    I fell in love with the fact that we could easily walk to and from Magic Kingdom and be in control of how quickly we could do so. This eliminated the stress of waiting for Disney Transportation, although that is still an option. The other aspect I loved was that the rooms did seem larger than some of the other deluxe resorts I had previously stayed in. I'm not sure what your view will be, but our Magic Kingdom view room allowed us to have the ultimate view of fireworks without having to be in the park. Lastly, I liked that our room was in the main building rather than a separate building. This made going down for a morning coffee or snack much quicker and more convenient.
