I want to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I know I need to buy a special ticket for this event but do I need a Magic Kingdom Park ticket too? Thank you. Sincerely, Joanne NJ

    Hi Joanne,

You'll love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Its so awesome to see it snowing on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.

On the evenings of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party it is held from 7 p.m. to midnight.  You will not need a separate ticket if you only want to visit the Magic Kingdom and attend MVMCP during that time.  If you'd like to spend the day at the Magic Kingdom on the day you plan to attend MVMCP, you will need a separate theme park ticket.

Once MVMCP begins at 7 p.m., only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park. Once party goers enter the park, they are given a special wrist band which indicates that have purchased tickets to this event.  Cast Members will be stationed at the entrances to the different themed lands. Guests who aren't wearing wrist bands for this event will be asked to make their way down Main Street to exit the park.

Wishing you magical holiday memories :-) Allison
