Do you have to go to mickeys Christmas party to see castle lights?

    Hi Linda,

Traveling to Walt Disney World Resort during the Holiday season is such a treat; the beautiful decorations at Parks and Resort hotels alike are attractions all in themselves. You do not need to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to view the absolutely stunning Cinderella Castle adorned in Castle Dream Lights. In fact, if you happen to be near the Castle around dusk you might catch the Fairy Godmother wave her wand to magically transform the castle into the most pixie dusted sight you've ever seen. 200,000 glimmering, shimmering lights to appear like icicles will captivate you each and every night throughout the holiday season!

While it is true Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party offers an exclusive parade, fireworks, and stage show (as well as hot cocoa, cookies and lighter crowds!), you certainly do not need to attend the party to feel immersed in holiday cheer!

Wishing you the most MAGICAL of vacations, Linda, and do feel free to visit us again with any other questions coming to mind.
