Hi Wendy!
Welcome to planDisney!
How exciting to know that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! First things first, make sure to create a
My Disney Experience account if you do not already have one. Then, once you have booked your vacation package,
link the confirmation number in My Disney Experience.
After you link the confirmation number, you should be able to see your
vacation package in My Plans. From there, you should see a link to Make a Payment. Just be sure to note when your balance must be paid in full. As soon as you link that vacation package to your account, you can start making
Disney Park Pass system reservations.
Know that there are still plans to make after you book a vacation package. At 60-days prior to your trip, make
advanced dining reservations. I cannot stress enough the importance of having some dining reservations. Although we enjoyed using
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering a few times on our last trip, we definitely preferred having a set time to dine.
Keep your eye on the
theme park reservation availability calendar. If you decide to change park pass reservations, check that availability calendar before cancelling existing park pass reservations to make new ones. Park passes have been quite limited on certain days.
Wendy, review the
operational updates before your visit since policies and procedures could change. Make sure you have downloaded the
My Disney Experience Mobile App so that you can take advantage of the digital tools that are now available including
Disney MagicMobile service. Get your superhero crew ready. We are so excited to welcome you to a world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
