How and when do we go about making dining reservations for Feb 21st.

    Hi Kelly,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There's always lots of magic with a Walt Disney World vacation, and for me much of that magic centers on all the amazing dining experiences!

You can make dining reservations up to 180 days in advance for table service restaurants. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel enjoy an extra benefit with the ability to make dining reservations for their whole length of stay up to 10 days. You can make dining reservations online or by calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

My suggestion is to start with the list of Walt Disney World restaurants that accept reservations. Begin with choosing a general location such as one of the theme parks, a resort, or Disney Springs, then use the date and time search features to select when you want to dine and how many will be in your dining party. You can also use the filters to find restaurants by dining experience, cuisine, and other criteria. Each of the restaurants provides helpful descriptions, dining plan details, and the menu for meals. Previewing the menu is a great help when deciding where to make a reservation. You can use the "Check Availability" feature to find a time that works for you, and then make the reservation. If you prefer, you can make reservations by phone.

Kelly, as it looks like you are already within your reservation-making time frame, I'd encourage you to try and make your reservations. Many of the popular dining experiences will have their availability fill up quickly. I also want to share that there are many Quick Service restaurants and lounges offering amazingly delicious dining that do not require reservations.

Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World stay!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
