Welcome to planDisney, Tammi!
Hopping from lounge to lounge at The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like my kind of vacation. You’ve already named some of my favorites, but I’d love to share some others with you in addition to answering your question about reservations.
For most lounges at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll want to simply visit the lounge’s check-in area and speak to a Cast Member to be seated. For example, at the time of this writing,
Steakhouse 71 Lounge, Tambu Lounge, and Enchanted Rose have no option for an online walk-up list. However,
Nomad Lounge (one of my must-dos) at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park does have an in-app walk-up list available. You’ll be able to join it as soon as you get in close proximity to the lounge.
In general, you do not need an advance dining reservation for the lounges on property. One lounge that does require an advance dining reservation is the
Space 220 Lounge at EPCOT. It’s a one-of-a-kind, space-themed area that has limited seating availability. So, if you want to add this to your list, I recommend booking seats up to 60 days ahead of time in the
My Disney Experience App.
Tambu Lounge, like some of the other lounges that are nearby signature restaurants, serves up at least one dish that you can get without doing a table-service experience. The best part? It’s a Disney Monorail ride away from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s
Enchanted Rose. The vibe is elegant, but surprisingly laidback. I highly recommend that you take in all of the surrounding details inspired by the movie Beauty and the Beast.
AN EXTRA (HIDDEN) GEM: I also love the Salvador Dali-inspired
Dahlia Lounge atop the Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort’s Gran Destino Tower. It has amazing nighttime views of the Walt Disney World Resort property and the tapas and drinks are flavorful and unique.
Tammi, I hope that this helps and that you find ultimate relaxation at the lounges while you’re on vacation. Give us a holler here at planDisney if you have additional questions about your upcoming adventure.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
