When I go to look up my reservations online it keeps saying they are experiencing errors and cannot retrieve any reservations. I know I can call to confirm dining, but can I check in early to my resort 10 days in advance? Trying to make my trip easier!

Hi Katie!  Your vacation must be getting very close if you are in the 10-day check-in window!

I actually wasn't sure about this answer, so I called Disney directly to find out!  You cannot call in to do an early check-in.  This is an online service only.  It may be that the website is having some trouble and giving you your error.

The Disney cast member said that the most common reason for an error on online check-ins (other than website problems) is if you have requested a certain area of a resort.  For example, if you requested a room that it doesn't recognize in the computer system, it will show up as an error.  Do you think this could be your issue?  If so, he said it is best to wait and check-in when you arrive to have a better chance at getting the area you have requested.

I have used the online service and also waited to check in upon arrival, and it honestly doesn't make a huge difference in wait times.  Disney is very good at streamlining guest check-ins.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
