Hi there how can I go about layaway to plan a trip I was told that was an option also does it include room and park tickets it will be my first trip anywhere and I'm unsure what to do

Hi there, Lenice! I am so glad you found us here at planDisney and let me tell you, we LOVE helping first-time Guests! You are going to be making magical memories with your loved ones in Disneyland Resort before you know it!

Lenice, the best way to book your hotel stay and theme park tickets is through a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package or a Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Package. I'll be happy to explain both!

Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Packages include accommodations at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotel properties, as well as tickets for 2 - 5 days for each Guest age 3 years and up on the reservation, depending on your package selection. The base package includes admission to one theme park per day, but you may upgrade to Disneyland Resort Park Hopper tickets which will allow you to enjoy the flexibility of switching between both theme parks on the same day anytime after 11:00 AM, as long as there is capacity. Staying at one of these incredible Disneyland Resort hotels offers Guests exclusive benefits such as early entry to the theme parks, and in some cases, a dedicated entrance to the parks.

Good Neighbor Hotel Packages offer accommodations at a range of hotel properties in proximity to the Disneyland Resort, as well as the same ticket options I shared above. While staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel does not grant you the same early entry benefit as staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, sometimes it can fit your travel party's needs just right!

In either case, your vacation package booking will require a deposit of $200 (price is subject to change), and you can make periodic payments at any time that is convenient for you, up to 30 days before your arrival date which is when the full payment is due. All you have to do to view or make payments toward your balance is log in to your Disneyland account and use your mouse to hover over the "My Disneyland" tab on the home screen. Then, you'll select "My Hotel Reservations" which will display your hotel selection and a "Make Payment" option. It's that simple!

I hope this is helpful, Lenice! If you have any other questions as you prepare for your upcoming visit this summer, I'd love to see you come back and visit us again. I, along with my fellow panelists would love to share our favorite tips and recommendations to make the most of your time in the 'Happiest Place on Earth!'

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
