Well hi there Andrea, and welcome to planDisney!
I love heading to
Disney Springs whenever I feel like taking advantage of
the plethora of dining options available to us there, and end up staying way longer by just taking in all of the entertainment and changing offerings throughout the year. I've recently become very interested in the story and the lore that was built around Disney Springs, which even extended to the reimagining of the
Planet Hollywood Observatory. Now while the inside has remained generally the same with screen-used props, artifacts and memorabilia showcasing the very best of movie magic, I love how the outside was rethemed to reflect the surrounding Town Center neighborhood that it is located in.
You might be happy to find out that you don't necessarily need to have a meal at
Planet Hollywood to be able to visit! In fact, many locals and visitors alike enjoy heading over to the
Stargazers Bar to enjoy the atmosphere and perhaps a bit of live entertainment on select nights. This is a covered terrace that has special evenings dedicated to musicians, performers and even karaoke; I called Planet Hollywood and a friendly member of their team let me know that
Stargazers Bar patrons are absolutely welcome to check out the décor and memorabilia and are not obliged to eat anything, but also mentioned that
there are snacks on their lounge menu just in case!
If you're planning on visiting during a particularly busy time - typically evenings, weekends and holidays - there's always a chance that you might not be permitted entry without a reservation. Be sure to check out the
latest offers and events happening at Disney Springs, which tend to bring new food and drink items with each
festival or celebration that you can check out at the Disney Parks Blog. I hope to see you back here at planDisney Andrea, for
answers to any more of your questions ahead of your next visit!
Your next Disney adventure is out there!
