Bright suns, Santina! Thanks for stopping by to see us en route to a galaxy far, far away. I'd be happy to assist a fellow Jedi from Maryland as you prepare for takeoff.
How exciting that in just a few days, you'll be living your own
Star Wars adventure on the planet Batuu. Just recently, I visited Black Spire Outpost and was fortunate enough to escape the clutches of the First Order on
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The experience is truly out of this galaxy, and I hope you have the opportunity to secure a boarding pass for this unique attraction. Be sure to open
My Disney Experience as the clock strikes 7:00 AM on the day of your visit for the best chance of joining the virtual queue. Boarding group numbers are generated automatically, and you will not be able to select a return time, but rest assured it is possible to both battle the First Order and forge a custom lightsaber in the same day.
When your boarding group is called, you will have a one hour window to enter the attraction. Because you should plan to spend approximately thirty minutes at
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers, you will have plenty of time to wield your creation and make your way to the entrance of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance before the hour expires even if the two appointments overlap. Should you anticipate a conflict, see a Cast Member at the attraction or a member of the Guest Experience Team stationed throughout the park. Keep in mind that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a lengthy endeavor, and you may encounter a brief queue, so plan for the entire experience here to last at least thirty minutes.
Santina, I hope this helps as you make the final countdown before jumping to light speed. I've been an aspiring Jedi since I was a Youngling, and visiting
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge was an exciting, emotional adventure. Have a safe journey, and may the Force be with you.
Til the spire,
Betsy
