Hey howdy hey, Emma! Thanks for moseying by planDisney with your question. Your adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner! Let's get you ready for play time!
If you're looking to
join the toys in Andy's backyard or
explore a galaxy far, far away, then
Disney's Hollywood Studios is the place to be. I know finding a
Disney Park Pass reservation for this theme park has been trickier than
catching an alien with "The Claw" lately, but you can still get there if you can do a little "hopping."
At this time, Disney doesn't have a waiting list for theme park reservations, so the
Park Hopper Option is your best bet for getting into a park that doesn't show availability. If you don't already have it, you can add the Park Hopper Option onto your existing tickets in your
My Disney Experience account or by calling
Disney's Guest Relations number. Then, you'll make a Disney Park Pass reservation for a theme park that does have availability for that date (currently EPCOT or Disney's Animal Kingdom). On your park day, you must visit the park where you have a reservation first, then you can hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios after 2 p.m. when park hopping opens.
One important thing to note here. As I write this,
boarding groups for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are distributed at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., so you wouldn't be able to get one if you hop to the park after 2. There's still lots of fun to be had, though, so don't fret, pardner!
You can also keep an eye on the
Availability Calendar to see if any reservations happen to pop up as Guests change their plans. We have seen some extra openings appear in recent weeks, so you never know when the pixie dust may fall!
I hope this helps you have a blast at Walt Disney World, Emma. Please come see us again if you have any more questions, and say hi to
Slinky for me!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
