Where do I go to give an outstanding review for a cast member at EPCOT?

Hey there, Linda--welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you decided to be our guest! This question is hitting me right in the feels--it's always great when someone recognizes the hard-working Cast Members who make Walt Disney World Resort so magical. You've got a friend in me, and I'm happy to help with the information you're looking for!

No matter how many times I visit a Disney destination, I'm constantly amazed at the dedication, positivity, and pixie dust that Cast Members bring to their jobs every day. Our family makes it a point to check the nametags of anyone that we have an extra-special interaction with so we can be sure they receive thanks for their wonderful work!  There are two routes that I use to send positive feedback--here's the details:
    • It's super easy to send a Cast Compliment via the My Disney Experience app. These go to the Leader of the Cast Member, who will ensure they receive recognition for their great work! From the home screen of the app, select the three lines in the lower right corner (the "hamburger menu"). Scroll down almost to the very bottom of the next screen and you will see the heading for Cast Compliments. This takes you to a form to fill in details about the date and location of your magical encounter. The more details, the better (which is why I try and catch a name and hometown from the person's nametag!). It's simple to do these in the moment and I love that this feature in the app exists.
    • For a situation that you think requires a little more attention, you can stop by a Guest Relations location in the theme parks or Disney Springs to write down your comments, call, or send an email to wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com. I had a remarkable experience several years ago when I got very sick at Magic Kingdom Park and a young Cast Member was so incredibly kind to me. Fortunately, I was able to catch her name and hometown and sent a lengthy email when I returned home. Cast Members really are magic!
Thanks for going the extra mile to spread a little kindness, Linda! I am sure the recipient of your positive feedback will be so pleased to hear that they made a difference in your day at EPCOT. It's been a pleasure helping you--please come back anytime if our planDisney squad can assist with other questions to add some magic to your next Disney adventure!

    Have Courage & Be Kind!
