Hello there! Welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that you're planning a trip to the
Disneyland Resort! I like to secure my
theme park tickets and a place to stay as a first step for my vacation planning. I recommend exploring the
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Packages and the
Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Packages where you'll bundle your theme park tickets and hotel stay together, which is very convenient! You can input your ideal trip dates and the members of your party, and see what hotel options and rooms are available.
We love to stay at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, you truly cannot beat the service, ambiance, and the close proximity to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District. We also have had great stays at several of the Disney-approved Good Neighbor Hotels. Many are within walking distance to the theme parks, and several offer a
free breakfast which is a great way to save some money during your trip!
During the booking process, you'll also select how many days you'd like to visit the theme parks, and if you'd like to add on the
Park Hopper option. You can walk from the entrance of one park to the other in just a few minutes, so I highly recommend adding the Park Hopper option so you can take advantage of your favorite attractions, entertainment, and dining in both parks! You will need to make a
theme park reservation for each day that you plan on visiting the theme parks, and if you have Park Hopper tickets, you'll select the park you want to start your day in. I also recommend checking out the
special offers and discounts page (make sure you are logged into your MyDisney account first) to see if any offers would apply to you and your family.
There are so many possibilities for your trip, I am so excited for you to begin the process! If we can help with any other questions or next steps, please don't hesitate to
follow-up with me and ask.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
