Heigh-ho Crystal! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm glad you stopped by with your question, and I'd be happy to assist you today.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite seasonal events at Walt Disney World. I purchased my tickets for this year's event a few months ago, and I was whistling while I worked all day long just thinking about the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. When this year's celebration was officially called off, I have to say I felt like Grumpy Dwarf for a bit, so I certainly understand any disappointment you may have experienced as well.
Crystal, Guests who had tickets to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2020 should have received communication from Disney alerting them to the suspension of this year's event and process for reimbursement. Fortunately, everything is automated, so there's no need to go digging in a diamond mine to locate your funds. I noticed my refund came through automatically about a week after the e-mail notification.
If you purchased your party tickets with a credit card, funds will be returned to your original form of payment. If you used a
Disney Gift Card or
Disney Rewards Dollars, you will receive an e-mail with a new digital Disney Gift Card for the amount paid, and if you purchased a ticket with cash, you will be contacted on the phone to discuss refund options.
Be on the lookout, Crystal, as I am sure your funds will arrive soon. I know I'll be tossing a wish into the wishing well that next year we will be hearing "boo-to-you" once again at this spook-tacular party!
