Hi there, Jay! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I'm glad to help with your upcoming visit to EPCOT!
Having your transportation drop you off at the entrance to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is absolutely fine, and the best part is that you don’t need a
Park Hopper ticket to do so.
From there, you have a few easy and
complimentary ways to get to EPCOT. All of these options will bring you to the International Gateway entrance, located between the UK and France pavilions in World Showcase:
Disney Skyliner – If you're up for a scenic "flight," the Skyliner is a fun and efficient option. The boarding station is just a short walk from the front of Hollywood Studios. You'll transfer once at the Caribbean Beach station and then head straight to EPCOT. Plan for about 30–45 minutes, depending on wait times.
Friendship Boat – The Friendship Boat offers a relaxing, air-conditioned ride. It makes a few stops along the way at the Swan and Dolphin Hotels,
Disney’s BoardWalk, and the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts before arriving at EPCOT. The full ride takes about 30 minutes.
Walking Path – If you'd like to stretch your legs, there’s a scenic walking path that connects Hollywood Studios to EPCOT. It takes about 30–45 minutes at a leisurely pace and takes you through the BoardWalk area. This is perfect for soaking in the atmosphere before heading into the park.
No matter which route you choose, they’re all free and easy to use.
Let me know if you'd like help deciding which option fits your day best or if you have other questions about getting around Walt Disney World!
Toodles,
Korliss
