Hello there, Pamela. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
The Mitsukoshi store in the
Japan Pavillion at Epcot is so much fun to explore. Each time I go in there I find new treasures to enjoy and take home with me. You could honestly spend hours in there just browsing around. My daughter's favorite part of the store is also the fun candies and snacks that are found there. We always pick up a few new things to sample while we are there.
In order to visit the store, Pamela, you would need a
standard theme park ticket to enter Epcot with a
park pass reservation or a park hopper ticket to go later in the day. There isn't a program where you could just be escorted to the store to buy candy and then out of the park. It sounds to me like you aren't planning on using a park ticket for Epcot during your upcoming trip. If you have the park hopper option added on to your ticket (where you are able to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day) I'd suggest just hopping over to Epcot one afternoon to pick up the candy then. That's really the only way you'd be able to get some.
While I know this isn't from Epcot, you could always check out your local Asain market for snacks and candies. I know my local market always has some really fun finds that are very similar to the stuff that can be found at the Mitsukoshi store at Epcot.
I'm sorry I don't have more of a solution for you, Pamela. If you have any other questions before your upcoming trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and enjoy!
