Hiya Steve,
Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you are here and that we get to help you with your planning questions for your upcoming visit.
One of the great things about Walt Disney World Resort is that no matter if you are young or just young at heart, there is something for everyone. Guests of all ages can enjoy a visit to all of the four Theme Parks, including EPCOT, so no worries about being younger than 18. While most people enjoy Magic Kingdom for younger Mouseketeers because of their numerous kid-friendly attractions, my two-year-old loves EPCOT. There are a lot of fun attractions for the little ones! She’s a huge Moana and Frozen fan, so she could spend hours playing in
Journey of Water and riding
Frozen Ever After. We also love letting her play on the playgrounds while one of us runs to collect snacks at the Outdoor Kitchens, and the other stays behind to watch her have a blast running around. The only thing I want to remind you of is that Guests must be
over 14 years old to visit any of the theme parks or water parks without being accompanied by Guests older than 14.
I hope this was helpful, Steve. Before I let you go, since you plan to visit next month, don’t forget to check out
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. EPCOT comes alive in the spring with the beautiful topiaries and the fresh offerings from the outdoor kitchens; it really is a sight to see. It can sometimes be difficult to get my toddler to eat anything that isn’t a chicken nugget, but the festival treats are so pretty that I get her to expand her palate. If you want to jumpstart your planning for the festival, be sure to check out the
foodie guide, and please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
