Hi Barb! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm sure that you're counting down the days to your most magical vacation. And you're visiting just in time to experience the final moments of the Walt Disney World Resort's
50th Anniversary Celebration! You'll love the special
EARidescent sips and bites and enjoy the nighttime spectaculars like Magic Kingdom Park's
Disney Enchantment fireworks.
Even before you start the Resort hotel check-in process, you may add your general credit card information to your
My Disney Experience account. After logging in through the app or online, select "My Profile." Then select "Payment Method." There, you may "Add a Payment Method." This will be stored for your ease of use.
Now, let's get into how to enter your credit card information specifically for your Resort hotel check-in process. In your My Disney Experience app, select "Future Plans" and then "Start Check-In Now." Go through the steps of setting up how you'd like to receive messages during your vacation and providing your estimated resort arrival time. Then, you will be prompted to confirm or enter the card that you would like to use for the possible balance due on arrival and incidental expenses. The credit card that you have set as your account's default will most likely appear; however, feel free to use another method of payment.
AN EXTRA GEM: You'll find that you can store up to six credit or debit cards in your My Disney Experience app's profile. So, if you need to change the card that you want to use to make mobile purchases during your trip (instead of charging the card connected to your resort hotel folio), you can easily toggle through the choices.
Barb, please don't hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney if you have any further questions about your upcoming vacation!
Magic always,
LeAndra
