When I go to download a ticket via magic mobile, it does not allow me to. Is this because the ticket is under someone else’s name who I fought the ticket for? Do they need to make a MDE account for themselves and then I reassign the ticket to them?

Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Stephanie!

I’m thrilled to see you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in time for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Cinderella Castle looks fantastic in the daytime, and at night you will be transported to a world of 'EARidescent' sparkle as you watch the new fireworks spectacular, Disney Enchantment.
Stephanie, you’ve found the person who has probably experienced the most blunders and who has learned hard lessons from those blunders dealing with mobile devices.

For Disney MagicMobile Service here is what I learned when attempting to create my Disney MagicMobile pass via My Disney Experience and we will start from the very beginning.

    1. Ensure that your mobile device has completed all updates. Go to "Settings" and enable “Disney World” notifications for the My Disney Experience app. Mobile device requirements for iOS devices is iOS 13 and above and for Android devices  8.0 (Oreo) and above provide an efficient experience.
    2. Open the “My Disney Experience” app and on the Home Page tap the three stacked lines on the bottom right.
    3. On the “Welcome Stephanie” page click on “My Profile” and look for “Mobile Device Notifications" click on all buttons to enable this app to continuously update and send you 'push' notifications - this is important.
    4. Go back to the “Welcome Stephanie” page and tap “Tickets and Passes” to link any theme park tickets (I believe this is the step that may be causing you issues).
    5. Go back to your “Welcome Stephanie” page and click on “Disney MagicMobile.”
    6. On the page “Who’s Getting a Pass?” Click on Guests who you wish to create a pass for and then click on “Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Pay.” If anyone in your travel party creates or has a My Disney Experience account, they too, can and should create their own Disney MagicMobile pass for their own convenience.

If these steps do not work then at this point you will have to contact Walt Disney World Resort - My Disney Experience. Stephanie, while you’re in the My Disney Experience app, if you haven’t already, you can store up to 6 payment methods through your “My Profile” which will enable you to enjoy the convenience of Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering.

Best Disney wishes from a fellow Canadian Disney fan ~ Jacqueline
