How do I go about doing the payment plan for a vacation me and my family are planning

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Derek! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

It is so exciting that you are thinking about planning a Walt Disney World vacation. It truly is the most magical place on earth and you will make memories that will last a lifetime!

Walt Disney World does not offer payment plans on a Walt Disney World vacation package, Derek. Vacation packages need to be paid in full 30 days prior to check-in. You can, however, make payments as you go kind of like making up your own payment plan. You can pay everything when you book, make payments along the way or pay the balance in full at that 30-day prior mark. How you do it is really up to you. As I mentioned, you can kind of make your own custom payment plan if you'd like.

If you do not book a Walt Disney World vacation package, but instead book a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay only, you'll need to pay a deposit at the time of booking. Then, the final payment will be charged to your credit card on file after you check in. If you'd like to purchase Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets separately, those need to be paid in full at the time of purchase.

To make a payment on a Walt Disney World vacation package, Derek, you'll simply log in to your MyDisneyExperience account. Under the "My Plans, Reservations & Tickets" section you'll be able to see your vacation package details and have the option to submit a payment.

I hope this helps break things down for you a little bit better, Derek. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help!

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
