can i still go to disneyland if online says there are no reservations available for that day? i am comign form out of country and would like to go

Hiya Tracey! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

It looks like you're planning to visit the Disneyland Resort real soon! I can't blame you! I just returned from a magical trip of my own and I'm already browsing the calendar to see when I can go back again.

Unfortunately, Tracey, if theme park reservations are fully booked for a particular day, you will not be able to access additional tickets or enter the parks. The Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar reflects real-time availability for park reservations. There are no additional reservations beyond what you see on the calendar, including at the ticket window. I never like to be the bearer of not-so-magical news, but it would be a shame to show up and not be able to visit the parks like you plan. Here are a few alternative options.

You can continue to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar diligently. When a Guest cancels a theme park reservation, it becomes available for another to book. As Guests' plans change all the time, there is a chance that the calendar changes and reservations become available. This strategy works best when done frequently, even multiple times per day leading up to the day you'd like to visit. You never know when a little pixie dust may come your way!

Your next option is to spend a day visiting the Downtown Disney District. While it is not quite the thrilling experience of a theme park, there is a full day's worth of shopping, dining, and tasty treats in this outdoor wonderland! You may even choose to make a dining reservation at one of the restaurants within a Disneyland Resort Hotel for that extra splash of magic. I love Goofy's Kitchen and Storytellers Cafe, but you'll have plenty of options to choose from, none of which require theme park tickets.

Finally, you may choose another date to visit the Disneyland Resort. The further out you can plan, the more likely you'll see the availability you'd prefer. I know that this time around you may be in the area by happenstance, but next time maybe you'll visit for the vacation of a lifetime!

Whatever you choose, I hope you have a magical time!

    See ya real soon,

    Ashley
