I want to go to Disneyland on Friday (october 6th) but it looks like I can't make a reservation that day. Can I still go to the theme park and buy it a ticket there in person?

    Hi, Dianna,

With Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort in full swing, this week is a marvelous time to visit The Happiest Place on Earth. It can be a popular time too. So with only a limited number of theme park reservations, some days may have been fully booked already. It is possible to purchase theme park tickets in person at the Disneyland Resort ticket booths. However, park reservations would still be needed. Whether tickets are purchased in person, using the Disneyland mobile app, or online, the different pools of park reservations are the same. Still, I have some ideas for some things you may try to find those park reservations you seek.

    1. Be sure to check the different available ticket types. Sometimes, you may find availability for Park Hopper tickets but not one-park-per-day tickets, or vice versa.
    2. If it looks like reservations are gone, it’s still worth checking back regularly. You never know when other Guests may change their plans. When they cancel or modify their reservations, openings may come up for you! For example, as of the moment that I’m writing this, I see reservation availability on October 6, 2023, for both one-park-per-day tickets and Park Hopper tickets.
    3. If you have a little flexibility with your date, be on the lookout for park reservations available on days earlier or later.
    4. Are you booked for a stay in one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels? If so, check out the "My Hotel Reservations" page and book your park reservations from there. That will give you access to theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests.

Dianna, I hope that offers some inspiration for how you can find your way to a “world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.” If we can help you with your Disneyland Resort planning in any other way, I hope you’ll visit us again soon here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon!
