Hi Sylvia,
There's no better place to
celebrate your princess's birthday than "The Happiest Place on Earth!" She'll make memories to cherish for her entire life!
As part of the phased reopening, capacity is limited in the theme parks, and Disney has instituted a reservation system to manage how many Guests are in a park each day. To enter a theme park, it's no longer enough to have a valid ticket; Guests also need a
park reservation. When you see "Disney California Adventure Park Available as Starting Park" on the reservation
availability calendar, that means that you're only able to make a reservation for
Disney California Adventure Park; no additional spots are currently available at Disneyland Park. Is your ticket a Park Hopper Ticket? If so, you'll be able to start at Disney California Adventure Park, then
move over to Disneyland Park beginning at 1:00 PM, pending availability! The other thing you need to keep in mind with your ticket is its
Tier. The higher the Tier (they range from Tier 1 to Tier 5), the more options you have available to you as to when you can visit. I'm happy to share, though, that with a Tier 2 ticket, you'll be able to visit on June 2nd! Hooray!
If you have your heart set on
Disneyland Park and don't have a Park Hopper Ticket, you have a few choices. One, you could go ahead and make a reservation for Disney California Adventure Park to ensure you have a magical place to spend the day, then keep an eye on the availability calendar to see if something opens up for Disneyland Park, or you could
upgrade your ticket to a Park Hopper Ticket.
Whatever you decide to do, I'm sending pixie dust that you and your daughter have a day together that's, in the words of Mary Poppins, "Practically perfect in every way."
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Sylvia! I hope you both have a truly magical visit!
Missy
