I want to go to Disneyland and California adventure on the 19th of October. But I do know that the boogie bash is going to be going on that night. What will be open for me when not attending the event when I go for both parks for single day?

Boo to you, Michael, and welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you've stopped by to ask us your question.

I'm so excited to hear you will be visiting Disneyland Resort during the spooky season! It's one of my favorite times of the year in the parks. You are correct that Oogie Boogie Bash will be taking place on the day of your visit, but that's no reason to be frightened! You just need to come up with a plan that works best for you and what you are wanting to accomplish. The event officially kicks off at 6:00 p.m., which is when you will need to leave Disney California Adventure Park if you do not have a special event ticket. However, event Guests can start to mix in at 3:00 p.m.

If you have a Park Hopper, I would recommend starting off at Disney California Adventure Park and aiming to switch over to Disneyland Park just before the mix-in happens. This will give you a bit of a head start before everyone who has to leave Disney California Adventure Park starts to fill into Disneyland Park. I also think that purchasing Disney Genie+ may be a great way to make the most of your day, especially if attractions are high on your priority list.

Michael, while you may not have tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash, you still will be able to enjoy so many great things during Halloween time at Disneyland Resort, including Halloween Screams. Thanks for stopping by!
