    We would like to go to Disneyland Aug 28th-Sept 2nd of this year. I have heard the end of Aug. is not as busy as peak summer days, but I'm wondering with it being near the end of the diamond celebration if it is expected to be very busy?

    Disneyland Resort has a great When to Visit guide that helps plan when the parks are busiest, average temperatures, special events and estimated park hours. Generally speaking, the time you are planning on visiting has fewer crowds because schools are going back in session. It’s hard to estimate the crowds this early, but I prefer to go mid-week, usually Tuesday and Wednesday are the days I like to visit.

    Also, there is a non-Disney affiliated site called TouringPlans that has a great app for Disneyland Resort wait times, crowds, etc. I believe the app itself is free, but you then have to purchase a 1 week, 1 month or 1 year subscriptions.
