As Meg from
Hercules would say, "People do crazy things when they're in love." But a honeymoon at the
Walt Disney World Resort is certainly not a crazy thing. It's romantic, magical, and the perfect way to celebrate your special occasion! When you're there, I would suggest you make
advanced dining reservations for that special restaurant, get the
massage, and book that experience you've been eyeing from the
Enchanting Extras Collection. And remember, the romantic moments don't have to always be something extra. Simply strolling through the parks, hand-in-hand, especially at night around the World Showcase in
EPCOT, can be just the right way to celebrate. And this is especially true if you steal a few kisses and hugs, and tell your new spouse that you love them and that when you look at them, you're home (thank Dory from
Finding Nemo for that one).
At this time, stays at the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels do not include breakfast. However, since you have a
dining plan, you
can use your meals toward breakfast should you choose. Just check the restaurants you are most interested in and ensure that they are included in the dining plan you've purchased! And it's important to note that if it's a table-service restaurant, you'll likely need reservations.
Some of my favorite table-service restaurants to go to for breakfast are
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT,
Boma - Flavors of Africa at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and while I haven't yet experienced the character breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace at
Disney's Riviera Resort, I just
know it's going to be one of my favorites when I do! As far as quick-service restaurants for breakfast, I can't get enough of
Capt. Cook's at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the seemingly endless options at
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in EPCOT, and
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, also in EPCOT. And sometimes, I just like to grab the delicious Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich at
Sleepy Hollow in
Magic Kingdom Park, take a seat in the nearby seating area, and just watch the world go by!
