We are go to Disney World for the first time in 42 days. A friend suggested a visit to Minnie's country house but I can't find it. Is this no longer available?

    Hi Giselle,

Like your friend, I have fond memories of visiting Minnie's Country House on our trips to Magic Kingdom when our daughters were young. Sadly, it closed about five years ago to make way for the New Fantasyland expansion.

While her house is no longer available, Minnie is still in residence in the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland. You can find her at Pete's Silly Sideshow, not far from Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Barnstormer. I visited her there just last month, and she was greeting guests and posing for pictures in an amazing sparkling gown. Please note that there are two queues at Pete's Silly Sideshow. One takes you to meet Minnie and her friend Daisy Duck. The other leads to Donald Duck and Goofy.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as you finalize your plans for your very first, exciting visit. Enjoy every magical moment with your family!
