Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think you'll find
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to be an excellently themed tropical resort. You will almost feel like you are in the Caribbean with the white sandy beach and tropical foliage around.
The resort consists of many 2-story buildings surrounding a lake called Barefoot Bay. The main building, where you''ll find most activities, is named Old Port Royale. Here you will find a sit-down restaurant called Shutters, as well as a food court. Old Port Royale is often bustling with activity. You'll also find the Lobby Concierge, shops, pools, bike and boat rentals, a bus stop and an arcade here.
The Caribbean Beach Resort is expansive. There are nine swimming pools! You'll find Disney Resort Transportation available via bus. Bus stops are located at every "village" in the resort. All guest rooms open to exterior hallways, and sleep up to 4 people and a child under the age of 3. The rooms are decorated in a tropical theme with bright colors.
At Disney's Caribbean Beach, you won't have Downtown Disney at your footsteps, but I think you'll find the immersive tropical experience to be very inviting. There is so much to do here, from evening campfires and movies to renting
Sea Raycers and more.
I hope this information has helped, and I wish you a MAGICAL vacation, Alyssa!
