    Hi, I go to Disney World every year and I stay at one of their resorts. I was just wondering if they have buses at the transportation center if you wanted to travel outside of the park for a day?

    Hi Brenda!

    While Disney Transportation does not leave the Disney World property perimeter, you have a number of options for visiting off-property locations without renting a car.  You can call for a taxi or shuttle bus through Mears by logging on to mearstransporation.com.  Mears will pick up and drop off at any Disney property.  You can also "hail" a taxi at the front of the any Disney Resort.  They are often lined up and waiting for passengers.  If you are going to a major Orlando attraction (like Sea World, Universal, etc.) you'll be able to take a taxi back to your Disney Resort as well.

    Finally,  you can use LYNX public bus system, which you can pick up at Disney's Ticket and Transportation Center. (TTC)  Visit golynx.com for routes and prices. This would be the least expensive option to go off-property, but probably will take the longest amount of time.

    The concierge at your Disney Resort, and/or the Cast Members at the Valet Desk will be more than happy to help you strategize the best transportation options for your desired destinations.
