Go into to Disney world end of March. Will there be easter decorations since Easter is in April this year.

Hi Patricia, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There is so much to love about Spring at Walt Disney World! My family usually visits in the late March time frame, and we are huge fans of the great spring activities around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs.

While delicious and adorable Easter-themed treats pop up around Walt Disney World, in my experience, there are not really Easter-specific decorations, although there is plenty of springtime magic. Some Easter activities and events we've loved are:

-Easter egg hunts and candy scrambles at the resorts (usually taking place Easter morning)

-an Easter addition to the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, including the Azalea Trail Maids in their beautiful gowns (usually on Easter weekend)

-the chocolate Easter egg display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, created by Disney’s amazing pastry artists

-Epcot’s Easter Egg-Stravaganza scavenger hunt, featuring eggs decorated as Disney characters hidden around the World Showcase (usually during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival)

It’s too soon to know exactly when these events and activities will take place, or if new celebrations will take place this year. My advice is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates about all the Easter and Spring fun in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs.

Enjoy your Spring visit to Walt Disney World, and don’t miss the gorgeous topiaries and treats at Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
