Hi Bill!
I concur! We go to Walt Disney World to eat too! Our family is at a point now where our days really are geared around WHERE we are going to eat! The choices are limitless and we now have so many tried and true favourites that we cannot miss!
Like you, we enjoy a 'nice' breakfast and a great sit-down dinner ... but usually enjoy a quick, counter-service lunch on the go. We also enjoy indulging in a cappuccino or latte after breakfast and a 'treat' mid-afternoon during a parade.
Based on that wish-list, I find that the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan allows us to do all of this and more. With 3 meals at your choice of dining type (counter service or table service) plus 2 snacks per person per night, we are able to enjoy everything we love on a 'pre-paid' feeling system. You can even enjoy the flexibility of enjoying a few signature meals or dinner shows at 2 credits per person, and still be able to enjoy another meal on the same day, supplementing with a hearty snack midday (if you've never tried the Carrot Cake Cookie from Writer's Stop at Hollywood Studios ... this would be one of those 'hearty & delicious snacks' I replace lunch with if I'm planning to enjoy a 2-credit dinner!).
At 2 snack credits per person per night of stay, the snacks can be the challenging part to work through, but I do enjoy a challenge at Walt Disney World! The Deluxe Plan definitely includes a LOT of food & snacks, but if you're planning on sitting down to a nice meal twice daily, it's definitely the way to go!
Wishing you a Magical time on your next Walt Disney World vacation Bill!
I hope you'll visit again if you have any more questions!
