I want to go to Disney World for our daughters first birthday. What will be able to do with her there?

    Hi, Amanda!

Celebrating a first birthday at Walt Disney World is such fantastic treat! How magical!

First, head over to this article posted on WDW's website "In-Depth Planning Topics: Little Ones at Disney Theme Parks." This is a one-stop shopping sort of resource that's jam packed with tips, information and links, all of which will help you to anticipate what you'll experience while in WDW. Attractions which are toddler-friendly are listed, as well as information about what you'll find in your resort room, Baby Care Centers and so much more!

On my very first trip to WDW, my son was almost 5 months old, and I can tell you that there was so much to do...even with a little one attached to either his dad or I!  For your little princess' birthday, however, you can celebrate with a special character meal, a Celebration Recognition Button or commemorate the special day with some great photographs taken by Disney's professional PhotoPass photographers. In fact, you could even book a mini-photo session with Disney Fine Art Photography & Video. My extended family did just that to commemorate my father-in-law's 70th birthday, and the whole experience was not only a breeze, but the photos were phenomenal. What a way to capture the sparkle of your little girl's smile on that most monumental event, in the most magical place.

I hope that these give you some idea of where to begin, Amanda! Send more questions as  you think of them; I'd love to help!
