Hey there, Paula! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!
You are someone after my own Disney heart, Paula. I absolutely love "Resort-hopping" and visiting different
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. I especially love visiting the Resorts on the monorail route in the Magic Kingdom Resort area during the holiday season and exploring the incredible theming, festive decorations, awesome shopping and delicious dining options. Now, let's make sure you can do the same!
I think you will be happy to hear that you can visit
Disney Springs and the Disney Resort hotels without a park ticket. In fact, visiting Disney Springs and Resort-hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day when I don't have a theme park ticket. After shopping, dining and exploring at Disney Springs, you can absolutely use the
Disney bus transportation to hop to one of the Resort hotels to continue the fun.
Just be aware that the buses run from the Resorts to the theme parks and Disney Springs and back, and not from Resort to Resort. If you'd like to visit multiple Resorts using Disney transportation, I recommend hopping a bus to a Resort that's on the monorail loop, such as
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa so that you can take the monorail from Resort to Resort. You can also explore different Resorts in the EPCOT Resort area, such as
Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and jump on the
Disney Skyliner for more Resort-hopping! Enjoy!
I hope this helps, Paula, and I hope you have the best Disney day, full of shopping, dining and more! Feel free to stop by any time with any questions you have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
