    We would like to go to Disney Florida when the Christmas decorations are up. When would this be?

    Hello Melanie and thanks for bringing the merriest of Holiday questions to us here at planDisney!

    Christmastime and the Holidays are amongst my favorite times of the yEar to vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.  I absolutely adore everything from all the many 1000s of twinkling lights strung on Cinderella Castle to the aroma of cinnamon spices in the air as I walk right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A - it's all so very extra magical during the whole Holiday season!

    In my own past experiences of spending October 31st for Halloween at Walt Disney World Resort, I can happily share that as if by Mickey magic... the Disney Theme Parks, Disney Resorts, and Disney Springs begin their winter transformation for the yuletide season as soon as the pumpkins are put away and the Headless Horseman rides back to Sleepy Hollow!  

    Therefore as a rough guide for you Melanie, Guests can expect Christmas to have fully arrived at Walt Disney World Resort by sometime mid-November.  I always marvel at how Cast Members make this incredible Holiday transformation look so effortless like in this magical timelapse video featured a few yEars ago on the Disney Parks Blog.  It really is totally Christmastastic how Cast Members orchestrate and arrange all those beautiful decorations!
