Hiya Precious! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! It sounds like you are planning the ultimate Disney getaway! A Land and Sea vacation is something I have dreamed about for a long time! You get the best of both worlds, including all of the thrills that come along with visiting the parks and the relaxation that a stay on a Disney Cruise provides.
When it comes to purchasing your park tickets, you'll need to get a bit creative on this trip. Being that you are starting and ending your stay at the
Walt Disney World Resort, you'll need to make two separate ticket purchases. A standard four-day ticket package only allows you seven consecutive days to use them within. With the
Disney Cruise Line portion of your trip lasting six days, you won't have any dates left at the end of your trip to use your tickets. I suggest purchasing two, 2-day park tickets for each Guest on the trip. Have the first set of tickets dated for the beginning of your trip and the second set of tickets dated for your first day back on land.
Once your tickets are secured, make sure to log on to your
My Disney Experience account to make park reservations.
Theme park reservations are required for entry along with a valid park ticket. You'll need to make reservations for the first park you plan to visit each day. If you purchase park hopper tickets, you can hop to any of the three remaining theme parks starting at 2 PM each day. Reservations are not required for the parks that you hop to.
With your visit taking place during the holiday season, you are going to have plenty to keep you in the festive spirit. Many of the Disney Resorts Hotels are decorated with festive décor and holiday displays. Take some time during your stay to swing by
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to check out the life-size Gingerbread House on display in the main lobby. It's a holiday tradition for my family and a quick ride over on the monorail from the Magic Kingdom.
Precious, I hope you have a magical time during your extended vacation! Best of luck navigating the parks and seas!
See ya real soon!
