We go to Disney in 30 days. My dad has a work related reason that be might not be able to go us. Can we remove him from the reservation without a penalty fee? Thank you

    Hi Anna,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I’m so sorry to hear that your Dad might not be able to join you on your Walt Disney World Vacation, and I am hoping there’s a pixie-dusted solution coming your way that allows him to join the fun.

Anna, because you are still within 30 days of your check-in date, you should be able to remove your Dad from the reservation with no penalty. Be aware that if your reservation includes flights, you will be subject to the airline’s cancellation policies.

While you may be able to modify your reservation in My Disney Experience, what I recommend is to call Walt Disney World Reservations at (407) 934-7631 to speak to a Cast Member. Because they can see the specifics about your reservation, they will best be able to assist you with any questions about modifying your reservation and help you get everything set properly.

I hope this all works out exactly the way you want it to, Anna, that fate steps in and sees you through, and that all your wishes come true. I hope you have a wonderful Autumn visit to Walt Disney World!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
