Hiya, Castalia! I'm happy to answer your spooky question today.
Just like the Fairy Godmother's magic in Cinderella, pretty much when the clock strikes midnight on October 31st,
Halloween at the
Disneyland Resort usually starts to come down. Cast Members and
Imagineers quickly change the resort decorations from Halloween to the
holidays. They make quick work of this at night when Guests are fast asleep. While there
may be
some lingering autumn decorations and
some Halloween merchandise in some places, they won't last long.
Even though we can't say exactly what will be on display when you arrive on November 3rd, it will likely skew more toward the holiday season than Halloween. But I was at the resort during the holiday season last year and it was absolutely breathtaking. While not all decorations will be up by November 3rd, there is usually enough to get you into the holiday spirit. In fact, holiday merchandise has already started to pop up at some
merchandise locations as of me typing this answer, so you'll likely have a selection of holiday souvenirs to get you ready for the season!
Now Castalia, if you're dead set on getting that Halloween feel, there's always the
Haunted Mansion Holiday. Even though this is
The Nightmare Before Christmas version of the ride, it's still got that spooky charm, just with a holiday twist. And then there's the classic
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. You'll encounter some devils and demons, and it will end in a spooky place.
If you have any other questions,
please reach out to me and I'd be happy to answer them!
