Can we go directly to a park with our magic bands on our day of arrival or will we need to go to our resort and check-in first?

    Hello, Brooke!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question. MagicBands make vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort so convenient!

Yes, with your MagicBand on your wrist, you can head straight to a theme park on your day of arrival! There's no need to stop and check-in at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel first. Just make sure your theme park tickets and MagicBands are linked to your My Disney Experience account. Also, note that you can check-in online beginning 60 days before your arrival. Online check-in expedites and simplifies the check-in process. If you choose to check-in online, you will have the option to be notified via text message when your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room is ready. With this option, you can even bypass the Front Desk and head straight to your room; your MagicBands will serve as your room key.

I hope this helps with your planning, Brooke! Please stop back and let me know if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation. Have a magical day!
