We want to go for Christmas 2011 to Wlat Disney in Orlando, Fl and would like to participate in the parade. I mean be in one of the cars with the characters. How do we arrange this? We will decide on the dates based on the availability to be on the parade.

    Hi Katty!

Unfortunately, there's no way to arrange to be in the parade.  Sometimes, a family is selected to be in the parade.  That family is generally selected at random at park opening (in fact, usually before the park opens to the public when guests are waiting outside the turnstiles to get in).  People have suggested that the best way to be picked is to show up an hour or two before the Magic Kingdom opens, dress in matching outfits (like the same color t-shirt), and be very enthusiastic and engage any nearby Cast Members in conversations, etc.  However, there's obviously no guarantee!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
