I want to go to The Chip N Dale Campfire sing along on June 9th. Do you know what time it begins and how far is it from The Contemporary.

    Howdy Pam!

The Chip’n Dale’s Campfire Sing-a-long is my favorite free activity to do at Walt Disney World!  The festivities usually start around 7pm, although it does depend on the time of year.  The movie generally starts at dusk.  While the Disney website does not post the schedule’s ahead of time, you can look at this site for an unofficial schedule for movie’s and times.  http://www.buildabettermousetrip.com/activity-outdoormovie.php#fort  It is updated monthly, so check back at the beginning of June to find the schedule for when you will be visiting.  You can also call the concierge at your hotel and ask them what time the campfire starts as all times are subject to change.

The easiest way to get to Fort Wilderness from The Contemporary is by ferry boat.  Make sure you hop on the boat that goes to Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.  Once you are docked at Fort Wilderness, make your way over to the bus stops and hop on any bus that goes to the Meadow Trading Post.  This is where the campfire is held.  I suggest giving yourself at least an hour travel time to get there so you have enough time to snag a good seat.  If you’re there early, you can mosey around the campground and enjoy the beautiful scenery!

    Have a great time!
