Ahoy there, Jason! Welcome aboard the decks here at planDisney, and thanks for sailing by with your question! I hope you've been keeping an eye on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app countdown feature as you get ready to set sail!
Speaking of the countdown,
Online Check-In is one of the final steps of preparation you need to undertake as your cruise gets closer - but a very important one! When it comes to Online Check-In for your cruise, it always opens to everyone 30 days (or more accurately, 29 days, 23 hours, and 59 minutes) before your sail date, regardless of
Castaway Club status! It can be found under the "Already Booked" section of the Disney Cruise Line website if you need to look in the future!
I always like to get Online Check-In done right away so I can see what available Port Arrival Time time our family will get, so I'd be sure to set a reminder for 12:00 a.m. whenever your countdown hits 30 days! Also, be sure you have your passports or other
Travel Documentation available as well as a photo of each Guest handy to upload - they used to take these photos during arrival, but now it's part of the Online Check-In process - which I think is even more convenient! Selfies are ok, and so are cropped images - we uploaded a photo of my son playing in the laundry and it was accepted, so as long as it's a clear photo of each Guest's face, you should be good!
I hope that sets your compass in the right heading, Jason! Thank you so much for your question. and if you have any others as your sailing approaches the horizon, please drop us another line here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
