Hi Steven,
Welcome to planDisney! I am happy to hear that you are aware of the recent changes to the requirements for entering any of the Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort, and I will gladly clarify the new procedures for you.
In order to enter any of the Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort, guests are required to have a valid Theme Park Ticket and a
Theme Park Reservation for every day you plan on visiting. It is recommended that guests check for Theme Park Availability prior to purchasing their Theme Park Tickets using the
Theme Park Availability Calendar. The calendar can be found on the Walt Disney World Resort Website where
Theme Park Tickets are Purchased. There are three different options for availability, please make sure you are choosing the correct calendar. Your choices will be Theme Park Tickets, Disney Resort Guests and Annual Passholders. With the limited availability of Theme Park Reservations, I would highly recommend making your Reservations as soon as you have purchased your Theme Park Tickets, even if the calendar is showing availability for your selected dates.
Once you have purchased your Theme Park Tickets, login to your
My Disney Experience Account and you should be able to see your tickets under "My Plans". From there, simply click on the Park Reservations Tab and follow the prompts to select your Theme Park for each day of your stay. You will be able to make Theme Park Reservations for everyone in your party, provided they are part of your Friends & Family in My Disney Experience. All of your Theme Park Reservations and other Theme Park Ticket information will be available for you to view and modify if needed in your My Disney Experience Account as well.
I hope that answers your question, Steven. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
~Stephanie
