Can we go to a Character dinner at a restaurant outside of one of the parks on a day we don't plan on doing Disney related activities?

    Hi Sara!
Thanks for your question and Happy New Year!
The short answer to your question is you can ABSOLUTELY enjoy Character Dining at many of the Disney Resort Hotels without having to use a park ticket or scheduling a "Disney related activity."

There are Character Meals both in and out of the theme parks. In fact, some of my personal favorites are actually IN the hotels and NOT the theme parks. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is a huge favorite of mine and my girls! Also, check out 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for two additional classic in our family.

I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!!
