I want to go to some of the character breakfasts at the hotels at WDW, but I am staying off site. Where do I park if I'm going? Do I park at one of the parks and take a bus or can I park at the hotel?

    Hi Lesli,

You are a very wise Disney vacation planner, indeed!  Personally, I think everyone who visits Walt Disney World should experience at least one character breakfast while on vacation.  It's a magical way to start your day.

Even though you are not a Disney resort guest, you may park at the Disney hotel where your breakfast is being served during the meal.  Simply tell the Cast Member at the security gate of that hotel's parking lot that you have a reservation.  He or she will likely check to see that your name is on the reservation list and then grant you a temporary parking pass that will allow you to park in the resort lot for a few hours.  Then, after your delightful breakfast with the characters, you can drive to whatever park you plan to visit that day.

For instance, if you have called (407) WDW-DINE to book breakfast with Minnie and Goofy and The Cape May Cafe in Disney's Beach Club Resort, you can park at the Beach Club while you dine.  Then you can drive over to Epcot, or whichever theme park you wish to visit, after breakfast.  We have done this many times and it works brilliantly.

Wishing you a magical vacation!  Say hello to the characters for me.
