When we go to California adventure land, my baby will be 7 months. If I have her in the baby carrier that I am wearing, is she allowed to go on the cars ride?

Hi Deserae, thanks for visiting planDisney! I love that you're gearing up for your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, so let's get to your question.

Deserae, your little Mouseketeer must be tall enough to ride any ride that has a minimum height requirement, this includes Radiator Springs Racers, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters - all three of these rides have a 32" to 40" or taller height requirement. This means that your little one will have to wait until she's tall enough to ride. These height requirements are for the safety of Guests, and a Cast Member will check her height before she is allowed to ride. I am sorry if this is disappointing news.

You can use the Disneyland Mobile App to see which rides have a height requirement. From the app home screen, click the pin drop icon on the bottom toolbar, which is second from the left. This will open the Disneyland Resort map. From the map screen, click "Filter" in the top left and it will give you options to filter by location, height, age, and more! It might be a good idea to check this before you arrive to plan your day based on rides your family can ride together.

If you are traveling with other adults in your party, you might be interested in Rider Switch Service, which allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with kids or Guests who are unable to ride a certain attraction. To use this service, let a Cast Member at the attraction know before joining the queue. They will scan your tickets and create two separate riding parties. For more information on how this service works, read the Rider Switch Service page on the Disneyland website.

I hope this information helps, Deserae. Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    See you real soon,
    Melissa
