how can i go bout planning a family vacation and making payments?

Hello MarQuetta and thank you for visiting planDisney!

I would love to help you begin planning for your Disney Cruise and share in that excitement with you. I remember fondly the first time I was welcomed aboard the Disney Cruise Line and what it felt like to experience all that was offered onboard. I can't wait for that moment for you!

The first thing that I recommend is for you to consider a few key details. Do you have a destination in mind? Perhaps you would like to visit Disney's own private island, Castaway Cay for a beach day filled with Disney Magic! Is there a port from which you would most like to sail? Perhaps due to its proximity to your hometown or maybe because you would like to pair it with some exploration before or after your cruise? The Disney Cruise Line has some upcoming sailings from the port of New Orleans and pre-cruise beignets are certainly calling me!

Once you consider where you would like your luxurious cruise ship to take you, or which departure port you may prefer, the next step is to head straight to the Disney Cruise Line website to utilize the "Find a Cruise" tool. From there you will be able to select filters such as dates, destinations, ports, and even cruise length to find the perfect vacation just for you. The Disney Cruise Line even offers some great planning videos to help!

Once you have selected your itinerary and stateroom, you will be directed to make a deposit for your chosen sailing. While there aren't specific payment plans, there will be a date specified for when your cruise fare is required to be paid in full. You may choose to make smaller payments between the time you book and the date your cruise fare is to be paid in full to best suit your budget.

When you have paid your cruise fare in full and 75 days prior to your sail date as a First-time Guest, you may log in to your reservation utilizing the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or the Disney Cruise Line website to begin booking onboard activities or Port Adventures for your itinerary. You can book a massage at the Senses Spa and Salon, a makeover for any prince or princesses in your party at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, or even a reservation for the adult-exclusive (and extremely delicious) restaurant, Palo. Whichever options you choose, I know that you will have a great time onboard. There are activities and entertainment options tailored to every Guest of every age from sunrise to sunset and the fun is endless.

MarQuetta, I hope that I've pointed you in the correct direction as you chart your course for adventure on the Disney Cruise Line! Visit us again if you have any further questions. We absolutely love to help.

    Your adventure awaits!
