How do I go about booking a 10 plus family cruise vacation

    Ahoy, Karen!

Welcome to planDisney!  I've always found that the real magic of any Disney vacation is in the moments you share and the memories you make with the ones you love.  I'm so excited to hear you're thinking about a Disney Cruise Line vacation for your family, and I'm happy to help as you start planning!

Karen, when making a reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website, you can book up to four staterooms at a time.  Depending on your selections, you'll find most staterooms can accommodate 3-4 Guests per room, while select options can accommodate families of 5 or more.  If you need to reserve more than 4 staterooms, a Cast Member at Disney Cruise Line can assist with your reservation.

If you haven't picked an itinerary just yet, I'd highly recommend a sailing that includes stops at both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.  Our most recent cruise included these two ports of call, and it was honestly my favorite itinerary yet.  Both island destinations are beautiful, and there is plenty of Disney fun to enjoy while you're in port!

On each, you'll find dedicated spaces for families, kids, and adults - a perfect extension of the cruise ship experience.  And while Port Adventures are available, our family often chooses to simply enjoy the island and the amenities included with our cruise fare - such as the beach (including chairs, umbrellas, and towels) and the lunch buffet.  Plus, you can use your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App while visiting each island to view the full schedule of character meet-and-greets and other entertainment options that may be available.

planDisney Pro Tip - When we visited Lookout Cay, our boys really liked Rush Out, Gush Out water play area.  There were small fountains and a splash area for our toddler, while our tween loved the water slides!

I hope this information has been helpful, Karen, and I'm sending buckets of pixie dust as you plan a most magical vacation for your family.  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    SEA ya real soon!
