Hello there, Sue! Thanks for sailing to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
Pairing a Disney Cruise with a stay at Walt Disney World is a fantastic way to get a double dose of magic into one vacation! You have a few options to make this happen, and I'd be happen to point your compass in the direction of a land and sea vacation.
Your first option for booking is to choose to book each component separately, at
DisneyCruise.com and
DisneyWorld.com. This is my preferred method because I like to handle all vacation preparations for a Walt Disney World trip on my own. It's probably because planning makes me happy (and also partly because I like to micromanage everything...), but this is what I typically choose.
Your next option is to reserve your Disney Cruise online (or over the phone), and then
call Disney Cruise Line to ask for assistance with booking the Walt Disney World portion of your trip. The Disney Cruise Line agents can help you reserve pre-cruise and/or post-cruise night stays at your preferred Walt Disney World Resort, as well as add ground transportation between your destinations.
Lastly, you have the option to contact a travel agent with Disney Cruise Line experience to take care of the vacation booking. This is the most hands-off method and a great choice if you want someone else to manage the details of travel planning. If you are looking to use a travel agent, it's a good idea to ask friends or family for personal recommendations to find a great fit.
Sue, however you book it, you are in for a magical and memory-filled vacation! If you have additional questions, please sail back to planDisney and ask. We'll be here for you.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
