When we go to book a meal in one of the parks, do you think we should coordinate with the extra magic hours or does it not really matter?

It depends on your touring plans.

Are you taking advantage of morning Extra Magic Hours? If so, you should not dine during this time. Make the most of the short lines and get in as many attractions as you can during the early morning. Planning a breakfast at 8 a.m. on a non-Extra Magic Hour morning though is a terrific strategy for touring. You'll be finishing breakfast as park guests are allowed in at the 9 a.m. regular opening time.

Are you touring on an Extra Magic evening? Again, it's not a good use of your time to be in a restaurant for an hour during these hours offered to resort guests.

It also will depend on the time of year that you are traveling. I've found that utilizing Extra Magic Hours works well in the off-season but is best avoided during the summer and holiday seasons.

So if the Magic Kingdom is offering evening Extra Magic Hours (EMH), and you aren't going to participate, make your dining reservation at a non-EMH park.

    Hope this helps!
